State of the Game - Observer Mode 101
http://www.guildwars.com/competitive...e/observer.php
One fundamental flaw which really annoyed me:

So, uh, HA doesn't exist. Right. I do realize that Christian Brellisford is a GvG writer, but that comment is a little ignorant.
Also, I love how he excluded Assassins and Ritualists from the Profession tips.

One day Zinger will make a thread about something before it's even posted on the GW site.

Well, these are his personal observations. I guess he has very selective eyesight.

I believe his article was only in regards to GvG, so mentioning that HA is also viewable by observer mode is rather irrelevant. Neglecting to mention that something exists is not saying that something does not exist, nor does it show that it's existance is not known by the one who makes such a statement.

Yeah, I gave up after reading it 3 times lol
I suppose I could just add up all the negatives and if it's an odd number it means he disagrees with you. lol

Does the last part sound like he's trying to say that overextended warriors HS??
If so: lol.

I think this may be a reference to HA. Also, almost nothing in there is exclusive to gvg. Here's your lollipop.
Its a pretty decent article, which obviously was written JUST as observer mode hit the streets before Factions was released which explains the lack of Rit and Sin references. What Im saying is it's obsolete. Mesmers for example in the *current* metagame are NOT domination heavy. they are inspiration with either domination or illusion Or Eles, only support role? Has anyone alse seen the number of Obs spikes out there lately???

Observer Mode debuted last December. So you are saying this article took ten months to write?!

or to publish, regardless what Im saying is that's the time it is reporting on in essence, the 'not-so-current-state-of-the-game'
edit:
As to the ha/gvg stuff: My bottom line implication is that the article is pretty dumbed down and has no real bias either way with a few refereneces to gvg (albeit as bland as boiled beef) and only one mention of HA - still the info is so generic as anything other than 'hey there is observer mode' as a translation of the entire article would be a stretch.

I think someone got it right; this article might have been written long before the HA got changed to 6v6. Thus, that part of article is a tad....off, so Anet remove it and any references to it.

Read it carefully. He didn't use any double-negatives. That sentence makes perfect sense.

It is possible this guy only has Prophecies to play with, but even then, he should have seen a few rits or sins running around in Tyria at same point, and he has to have seen at least ONE (1) assassin in GvG. Crappy article writer; learn the game you write about.
